Stephen, we noticed that you are coming very late on the 29th. I believe you land at 5:15 pm. If this is true, you should take a special cab to Jerusalem and not the "sherut". We are having our opening dinner at the Beit Ticho restaurant at 8:00, and we want you to make it.

"special cab" is an Israeli term for a regular cab. It usually costs 230-250 shekels (around $60). Not tips required.
There is one company that charges 160 shekels. You have to call them after landing: (02) 5000787 and their driver will meet you at a designated location. You can try that, or just walk to the taxi stand and take a regular cab.

Hi Stephen,

 

How are you? I wanted to let you know that I will be in Washington DC from June 6th until June 17th. I will be participating at a seminar at the Holocaust Museum. I wanted to see the Choosing to Participate exhibit on Saturday June 11th but I heard it is closed on weekends. What do you suggest?
