The New educational tool box

In order to address the weakening sense of Peoplehood and attachment to the Jewish State the School for Jewish Peoplehood at Beth Hatefutsoth is launching a new educational program set to start in January 2008. This groundbreaking new curriculum shows how it took the entirety of the global Jewish community to create the State. It provides cutting-edge tools for educators as they teach about the various ideas and visions that shaped the Jewish present, and call upon their students, regardless of geographic location, to be actively involved in the future of the Jewish People.

Announcement: My Family Story International Competition

For over 14 years, Beit Hatfutsot has been engaging tens of thousands of students from all over the world in Jewish heritage through the annual My Family Story International Competition. In this competition, middle and high school students research and present their family stories and thereby explore their collective Jewish history. In the 2009 competition, more than 20,000 students from various countries around the world (Israel, Argentina, Belarus, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Italy, México, Russia, South Africa, Venezuela, Ukraine, U.S.A. and others) participated, presenting projects in their own languages.

We invite your school, educational institution and community center, to participate in the 2009-2010 My Family Story International Competition. Please fill in the registration form. For more information about registering, please see "My Family Story" under the Additional Resources Tab.
